Ether is a progression-oriented 10 man guild situated on Alliance US-Anvilmar. We are a close-knit group of experienced players that places greater emphasis on downing new content than loot farming. Ether maintains a carefully limited roster and as a result, we use our alts in order to properly form a composition ideal for success. We value and encourage input about encounters from all of our guild members in order to formulate strategies that suit our raid's playstyle.
If you are interested in becoming a part of the guild, please read our recruitment information and submit an application.

My life has become hectic and these reports are becoming increasingly more difficult to file in any manner of detail. To deal with the stress, I have decided to release my tension in the form of haiku:
Bonecracker traps us
In the cold labyrinth of
Winter's sharp thorns. Ow.

This battle was long and arduous. We took a psychological approach to defeating the two shaman, splitting our company in half and separating them, hoping that separation anxiety would give us the upper hand. Exordis, Tart, Harpoa and Sashwa took Haromm of toward the Drag while the rest of us held Kardris. I cannot speak for the other group of people, but I can safely say that our battle was both exhilarating and exasperating.
I felt like I spent most of my time running around, dodging whirlwinds and tornadoes and poison slimes. I don't recall doing any real damage to the shaman aside from drive by clawings and bites and a few little innocent bear taunts. The General led the others around the entrance to the city, directing them to safety based on the torrents of wind around the area. It became a slow square dance from corner to corner as they fled from danger.
We apparently practiced our psychological warfare too adeptly as the two shaman would often run away before we could kill them. At one point, they were a single axe swing away from death and they fled like little children fleeing a pack of rabid hyenas.
We were livid.
So livid that we killed the shit out of them. It was a battle not entirely unique in itself, except for the fact that neither shaman fled. We had finally whittled them down to within an inch of death when they enraged. They grew in size, changed in complexion, and swung their moods more than a menopausal professor of theater. We fell, one by one, to their mighty swings.
However, one among us refused to go down without causing annoyance to Kardris which would, in the end, lead to our victory. Seeing our slow downfall, Jonndar became desperate, digging out any tricks he may have had left, whether he knew what he was doing or not. His grounding totem sprung onto the ground as Kardris and Haromm raged about Orgrimmar. It shone like a beacon of annoyance, glinting in the shaman's eyes. In a rage, Kardris hurled a Froststorm Bolt at us, not knowing that that little annoying totem would capture it. Jonndar was conscious long enough to see the bolt hit his totem and bounce, falling to the dark state of unconsciousness moments after and not knowing that that enraged Froststorm Bolt was successfully reflected at Kardris, annihilating him in one cold hit.
Many of us are grievously wounded, but we have Jonndar to thank for our lives. We pose in shamanistic appreciation above for your consideration.
